Description:
This project will involve the development of a digital map reflecting the
language diversity of visitors to the 2013 Folklife Festival. Project
activities will center on databasing information collected from visitors
during the festival, and development of a digital map reflecting these
responses. The Intern will work with the RV program manager and members of the
Museum’s IT department to develop this product. The internship is part-time,
10-20 hours/week.

Qualifications: 
The successful candidate will be highly organized and have excellent writing
and verbal communication skills. Student should have training in Linguistics,
Anthropology or a related field.  Must be computer-literate and comfortable
working on PCs and Macs. Interest in or experience with GIS and web design are
desired.
