The 6th International Symposium on Digital Technologies in Foreign Language
Learning will be held on March 29, 2014 at Ritsumeikan University Kyoto Japan.
The keynote speaker will be James Paul Gee the Mary Lou Fulton Presidential
Professor of Literacy Studies at Arizona State University.


Call for Papers:

Abstracts of no more than 250 words are now being accepted on the following or related themes:

- Web 2.0 technologies in the language classroom
- E-learning and collaborative learning
- Social networking applications and tools
- Teacher professional development and digital technologies
- Digital game-based language learning
- Mobile-assisted language learning
- Digital literacies
- Telecollaboration
- Social media and language learning

Proposals will be accepted in the following categories: papers (individual presentation, 25 minutes including Q&A), sessions (group presentations 90-120 minutes including Q&A) and posters (ongoing). Abstracts should be sent to: dlearning2014 at gmail.com no later than November 30, 2013. Successful participants will be notified of acceptance by December 15, 2013. 

When you submit your abstract proposal, please include the following information in your email text:

- Presenter name
- Presenter title (as you wish it to appear in the conference program)
- Presenter affiliation
- Type of presentation (individual paper, session, or poster)
- Title of your presentation/session
- Presenter/co-presenter contact information
- Technology requirements/needs
