Description:

The UCLA Department of Linguistics anticipates making a one-quarter Lecturer appointment for Spring Quarter (Mar. 26 - June 13), 2014. The appointee will teach two undergraduate courses.  One will be either undergraduate semantics (Linguistics 120C) or the second course in our undergraduate syntax sequence (Linguistics 165B).  The other couse is likely to be introductory linguistics at some level, to be determined on the basis of the department’s needs. Qualifications:  MA degree required, Ph.D. preferred. Applicants must be already eligible to work in the United States.

Pay will be approximately $15,000 without Ph.D., $18,000 with Ph.D., exact figures to be determined by the UCLA union scale. There are limited benefits which include health insurance.
