Meeting Description:

The 23rd annual meeting of Formal Approaches to Slavic Linguistics will be held at the University of California, Berkeley. A special session on the Slavic verb and verb phrase is planned.

Greville Corbett (University of Surrey)
Johanna Nichols (University of California, Berkeley)
Jerzy Rubach (University of Iowa / Uniwersytet Warszawski)

Call for Papers:

Abstracts are invited for 30-minute talks (plus 10-minute discussion) or posters on topics dealing with formal aspects of Slavic syntax, morphology, phonetics, phonology and semantics, as well as the use of formal linguistics in literary theory. Talks on Slavic verbs and verb phrases will be organized into the special session. Submissions are limited to one individual and one joint abstract per author.  
 
Formatting Guideline: 

Abstracts must be submitted as PDF files. They are limited to one page of text, with an additional page for data, figures and references, should be typed in 12pt font, with 1 inch (2.5 cm) margins on all sides. Abstracts must be anonymous. Specify three keywords to your abstract and add 'verb' to be considered for the special session.
