A group of researchers from the Language and Brain Lab at the University of Illinois invites you to participate in a study investigating the interpretation of a variety of structures in Russian. To participate in this study, you must be a native speaker of Russian and be at least 18 years old. This is a norming study, and we invite both linguists and non-linguists to participate. We will use your judgements about the events described in the test to select the sentences for our laboratory studies.

You will be asked to fill out a brief language background questionnaire and to complete a test in which you are asked to decide how likely the described events are to happen in real life. The questionnaire and the test consist of 6 pages and can be accessed via the link provided below. It will take you about 30 minutes to complete this test, depending on your reading speed.

If you have questions about the study, or if you are interested in learning about the results, you can contact Anastasia Gusikova (Stoops) by calling 1-217-355-3747 , or by email : agusico2 at illinois.edu. This study has been approved by the University of Illinois IRB.
