Abstract:

Wie sieht die Zukunft der Mehrsprachigkeit in Europa aus? Kann man Erfahrungen mit einem Typ der Mehrsprachigkeit in einem bestimmten geografischen, politischen und sozialen Kontext auf andere Situationen übertragen? Welche individuellen Wege zur Entwicklung und zum Ausbau von Mehrsprachigkeit begehen Lerner je nach Alter und Erfahrung? Wie können Lehrer und Dozenten in Lehrerbildungsprogrammen dazu beitragen, dass ihre Schüler und Studierenden leichter auf andere Sprachen und Kulturen zugehen? Wie können wir eine Arbeitsumgebung gestalten, die kulturelle und sprachliche Vielfalt als Chance ansieht?

Il n’y a pas un plurilinguisme au Luxembourg, mais de multiples façons de défi nir la richesse en langues et cultures, en fonction des biographies langagières et des trajectoires de vie de tout chacun. Cette vision intégrée des langues et cultures est assez exceptionnelle à l’échelle européenne et il nous a semblé que certains aspects de ce modèle luxembourgeois pourraient être utiles à d’autres pays qui cherchent des moyens d’augmenter leur cohésion sociale. D’une manière pratique, le lecteur est sollicité de mettre en oeuvre cette gestion de la diversité en accueillant ce recueil de textes en trois langues qui correspondent entre elles par les contenus, mais pour lesquels il doit lui-même construire les ponts de compréhension interlinguistique.
