Translating Hope (Health Education in African Languages) is an initiative
intended to facilitate development of materials on ebola in African languages,
with particular attention to areas of West Africa currently impacted by the
ebola epidemic.

It consists of a Blackboard site hosted by the University of Alaska -
Anchorage, and an email list on Googlegroups. This effort was proposed by
Catherine Knott (UAA, Anthropology), and I'm privileged to collaborate on it
with her and colleagues at UAA.

People and organizations who can contribute to this effort, and/or whose work
involves public education or training on ebola, are invited to join the list
at https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en#!forum/translatinghope , or
alternatively contact either Cathy or me.

Further description of Translating Hope is also available at:
