Description:

The Department of Linguistics and the Collaborative Research Centre at the Heinrich Heine University, Duesseldorf (Germany), has one funded PhD position starting in January 2016 until June 2019 (with a possibility of an extension). The funding is in accordance with the German public service salary scale E13 TV-L, 65%.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have an M.A. degree in linguistics (or a related field) with a focus on semantics, background in computational semantics, philosophy of language and mind, and/or experience in experimental semantics, conducting experiments also desirable. The PhD position is affiliated with the project C09 of the Collaborative Research Centre at the Heinrich Heine University: http://www.sfb991.uni-duesseldorf.de/en/the-structure-of-representations-in-language-cognition-and-science.
