Subject: Synaesthetes needed for DNA study

The Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen is conducting a
large scale study into the genetics of synaesthesia. Synaesthesia is an
unusual condition sometimes described as a 'mixing of the senses'. A person
who has synaesthesia may experience colours when they see particular graphemes
or assign personalities to days of the week.

We are looking for individual synaesthetes to participate as well as families
with several synaesthetes. Participants can be located anywhere worldwide -
you do not need to travel to participate since all parts of the study can be
done online and through the mail.

On the website you will find information about the study and on how to
register. For more information you can also email us at synaesthesia at mpi.nl

www.mpi.nl/synaesthesia

Please help us our by passing this information on to anyone who may be
interested!
