Meeting Description:

Our twin conference will give space to various theoretical issues of
word-formation and will aim to give an impetus to research into universals and
typology in word-formation by a joint effort of both morphologists and
typologists.

Dirk Geeraerts, KU Leuven
Nicola Grandi, University of Bologna
Bernd Heine, University of Cologne
Susan Olsen, Humboldt University, Berlin
Frans Plank, Konstanz University


Call for Papers:

Another edition of our twin conference concentrates on two areas of research:
word-formation theories and word-formation typology/universals. Papers
discussing any aspect of  these general areas are most welcome.

A special event of this conference will be a workshop 'Revisiting paradigms in
word-formation' organized by Aleksandra Bagasheva and Jesus Fernandez
Dominguez.

Deadlines:

Submission of abstracts (max. 200 words): 31 March, 2018
Notification of acceptance: 10 April, 2018
Submission of a registration form: 30 April, 2018

Abstracts should be emailed to livia.kortvelyessy at upjs.sk
