Meeting Description:

The Network for Language and Education
(http://www.eera-ecer.de/networks/nw31/) of the European Education Research
Association (EERA) invites all researchers to present their work at this
years' annual European Conference on Educational Research (ECER), taking place
at University College Dublin from 22-26 August 2016. Submission deadline is 15
January.

The network offers an international space for all social sciences researchers
working on - or wishing to reflect upon - issues related to the reciprocal
relationship between language proficiency and educational processes, settings
or outcomes. The concrete role of language, language diversity and literacy
skills within teaching and learning contexts is the focus of the network.
Original empirical work in the form of papers, symposia, posters and research
workshops is welcome.


Call for Abstracts:

ECER 2016 ''Leading Education: The Distinct Contributions of Educational
Research and Researchers'' will take place at University College Dublin from
22-26 August 2016.

Proposals for contributions are welcome from all fields of educational
research. Participants are invited to hand in up to two abstracts for papers,
posters, workshops, round tables and symposia. All proposals must be submitted
electronically via www.conftool.com/ecer2015.

The submission should contain a maximum of 1300 words + references and needs
to be composed along the following themes:
Title of proposal 
Authors(s) of proposal including affiliations and email addresses 
First and second choice network 
Some networks will ask for identifying sub-themes
3 - 5 keywords
General description on research questions, objectives and theoretical
framework (up to 600 words)
Methods/methodology (up to 400 words) 
Expected outcomes/results (up to 300 words) 
Intent of publication 
References (400 words) 

It is not possible to include tables or graphs in the submission form.
