Meeting Description: 

Kick-off Meeting for a research project on WhatsApp messages. Focusing on a
corpus of ~830,000 WhatsApp chats, four subprojects lay out their research
plans for the next three years: Verbal Periphrases and Argument Drop; Language
Design in WhatsApp (Icono/Graphy); Focus on Individuals; Cultural Discourses
and Social Meanings of Mobile Communication. Additionally, nine highly
regarded keynote speakers present their current research in their respective
fields.
