Description:

Our groups at the École Normale Supérieure are seeking a candidate for a
2-year postdoctoral position. Successful applicants will be part of an
interdisciplinary project involving the Équipe de Neuropsycholoigie
Interventionnelle (Inserm U955) and the Laboratoire de Neurosciences
Cognitives (Inserm U960), funded by Labex IEC program. The project is aimed at
understanding the contribution of reinforcement processes in language
acquisition and will involve the design of an artificial grammar-learning
paradigm, computational-model based analyses of functional imaging. The
position is available from April 1st 2017 and has to be filled within 2017.
Applicants should have a PhD degree or be in the final stages of obtaining
such a degree.

We seek candidates with proven experience in computational modeling and an
interest in computational linguistics. A prior background in the design of
cognitive tasks and functional magnetic resonance imaging analyses would be
desirable.

Applications should include a CV, a brief statement of research experience and
interests, academic achievements and names of at least 2 referees. Please,
send your application electronically to Maria Giavazzi (maria.giavazzi at
