Description:

The Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University at
Albany (www.albany.edu/llc), State University of New York, seeks a
tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in Spanish Linguistics for Fall
2018. Preferred specialization: Spanish syntax/morphology or Spanish
historical linguistics. Applicants must have a PhD in Spanish Linguistics by
8/2018. The ideal assistant professor candidate will show significant
potential for high-quality research and teaching. The ideal associate
professor candidate will have demonstrated evidence of an established research
profile and excellent teaching and mentoring credentials. Required: native or
near native fluency in Spanish and English. Application review will begin
11/1/17 and continue until filled. Submit cover letter, CV, 3 recommendation
letters and writing sample to the link below. 

Applicants must address in their application their ability to work with and
instruct a culturally diverse population. Degree must be from a university
accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally
