Meeting Description:

The Canadian Society for the Study of Names / Société canadienne d'onomastique
will hold its annual conference on June 1 & 2, 2019 in Vancouver, Canada, in
conjunction with the Congress of Humanities and Social Sciences of Canada.
This year's conference features a special presentation by Dr. Claire Boudreau,
Chief Herald of Canada, on the topic, ''The Representation of Names in
Contemporary Canadian Heraldry: The Making of Canting Arms and What they Tell
About Names and Naming.''


Call for Papers:

We especially invite papers that address the representation of names in
various forms or media, but we welcome presentations on any topic to do with
names and naming. Papers may be presented in either French or English. 

Please send  your paper proposal abstract to arrive by February 1, 2019 using
