Description:

The Department of Linguistics at Yale University invites applications for a
non-renewable lecturer position for the 2019-2020 academic year. 

The appointee will teach two courses each semester, advise student research,
and be fully involved in the intellectual life of the department. Courses
should include two in linguistic methodology, for example fieldwork and corpus
linguistics, as well as an introduction to language change. 

Applicants should submit the following items: 
- A cover letter describing research interests, 
- A current CV, evidence regarding teaching qualifications, 
- Two representative pieces of research, and 
- The names of two references. 

Review of applications will begin immediately, and will continue until the
position is filled. The requirements for the PhD must be completed by the time
of appointment.
