Call for Papers:

The Journal Forma y Función invites language researchers to submit full
research articles on indigenous and creole languages and marginalized
varieties of major languages anywhere in the world. This special issue aims to
highlight the importance of native languages and local varieties for daily
communication, socialization, and identity construction of their speakers and
among ethnic groups. The papers may address (but are not limited to) one or
several of the following areas:
- Language documentation and description
- Sociolinguistic description of ethnic groups and their languages
- Ethnolinguistic vitality and revitalization
- Language and dialect contact
- Education for ethnic groups, intercultural bilingual education, and
community-based education
- Language policy and language planning
- Plurilingualism and intercultural dialogue
