Project Information:      

Description: 
Named entity annotation and linking related tasks for any of the following 
languages:
- English
- Japanese
- Korean
- Mandarin 
- Tagalog 
- Thai

Work Hours: 20 hours weekly 
Duration: 1-3 months, ASAP 

Requirements: 
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Language
Technologies, or related field
- Interest in practical as well as theoretical linguistics, especially syntax,
semantics, and pragmatics  
- Facility with computers and software applications  
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements, priorities, and revisions   
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills 
- Experience working remotely 
- If bilingual, must be a native speaker of any of the languages below: 
- Japanese 
- Korean 
- Mandarin 
- Tagalog 
- Thai 
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically 
- Willingness to submit and ability to pass a screener and a background check 
 

Preferred Experience:   
- Advanced degree and/or industry experience  
- Annotation experience  
- Experienced with ontologies and label sets
