Our Vienna team are currently looking for a Norwegian Language Consultant to
assist speech scientists in a small team that is developing Norwegian speech
recognition resources. Major tasks will be checking of the orthography and
phonetic transcriptions of Norwegian words, consultation in creation of
spoken- and written-language transformation rules and creation of test sets
(review, correction, dictation and recording of texts).

Responsibilities:
- Checking the orthography and phonetic transcriptions of words (from both
general and medical areas)
- Consultation in creation of spoken- and written-language transformation
rules
- Creation of test sets (review, correction, dictation and recording of texts)

Required Skills:
- Excellent orthography and phonetic knowledge in Norwegian (linguistic
background)
- Exact way of working, reliable, good team spirit
- Basic computer knowledge (Windows)
- English or German for communication within the team

Education: flexible

Role can be full time or part time and is a fixed term contract.
