Estimados amigos de las lenguas yutoaztecas,

Con mucho gusto, les informamos que el próximo Taller de los Amigos de las
Lenguas Yutoaztecas será en Tepic, Nayarit en la Universidad Autónoma de
Nayarit los días 27, 28 y 29 de junio del presente año. El taller se celebrará
una semana después de las 5as. Jornadas de Lenguas en Contacto, que serán los
días 20, 21 y 22 de junio.
 
En esta ocasión, nos reuniremos también para celebrar a nuestros queridos
amigos Jane Hill y Ken Hill, quienes han hecho grandes aportaciones a nuestro
entendimiento de las lenguas yutoaztecas y de las lenguas en general. Así que
los esperamos en Tepic en esos días para reunirnos con Ken Hill y celebrar.

We are pleased to announce that the Friends of Uto-Aztecan Conference will be
hosted in Tepic, Nayarit at the Universidad Autonoma de Nayarit on June 27, 28
and 29, one week after our 5th Jornadas de Lenguas en Contacto which will be
June 20, 21, and 22, 2019. 

This year we are also coming together to honor and celebrate the academic
careers of our friends and colleagues Jane and Ken Hill. We sincerely hope
that you will join Ken Hill and us in Tepic to discuss the Uto-Aztecan
linguistic family and celebrate.


Call for Papers: 

We ask you to send an abstract of your paper, no longer than 300 words, before
April 27. The topics as usual include as on other occasions: Historical
Linguistics of the Uto-Aztecan languages, linguistic contact, etc.

Les pedimos envíen un resumen de ponencia de no más de 300 palabras antes del
27 de abril. Los temas a tratar serán, como en otras ocasiones, los que tienen

sincrónica, contacto de lenguas y otros.
