Description:

The person selected will join the UOC's Faculty of Psychology and Education
Sciences, specializing in the field of speech and language disorders.
 
Responsibilities:
UOC faculty promote and direct distance learning in their fields of expertise.
Particular attention must be given to the preparation of programmes of study,
course contents and teaching materials, as well as the supervision and
coordination of students' learning processes. Faculty members are also
responsible for driving innovation, especially in terms of the methods and
techniques used in distance learning and the research activities in their
fields of expertise.

The successful candidate will be awarded an open-ended, full-time contract.
Scheduled start date: at the earliest opportunity, to be discussed once the
candidate has been selected.

The place of work will be the UOC's 22@ centre, Rambla del Poblenou 156,
Barcelona.

Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in speech therapy. Applicants will also be considered
if they have an undergraduate degree in education or psychology as well as a
PhD or professional experience in the field of speech and language therapy. 
- Master's degree and PhD in communication, language, speech, voice, and
hearing and/or swallowing disorders. 
- International research stays in the field of communication, language and/or
speech disorders.
- Professional experience treating communication, language and/or speech
disorders.
- University teaching experience in communication, language and/or speech
disorders.
- Advanced office application skills.
- The ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in both Spanish and
Catalan.
- English language skills at CEFR level B2, ie First Certificate equivalent.
- Good interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
- A high level of initiative, and organization and teamwork skills.
- A continuous improvement approach.

Also of interest:
- Accreditation from the AQU Catalunya or ANECA quality agencies.
- Papers published in international journals in the field of communication,
language and/or speech disorders.
- Knowledge of the UOC's educational model.
- Experience in the university sector.
- Experience managing and participating in research projects receiving
competitive funding.
