Meeting Description: 

The Asian Association for Lexicography (ASIALEX) was established at the
conference Dictionaries in Asia: Research and Pedagogical Implications, held
at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology on 27-29 March 1997. Its aim
is to foster scholarly and professional activities in the field of
lexicography by facilitating the exchange of information and ideas through
meetings, publications and other means.

ASIALEX is managed by an Executive Board that is elected by the association's
members every two years.

The 14th International Conference of the Asian Association for Lexicography
(ASIALEX 2020) will be held on June 16--18, 2020 by Badan Pengembangan Bahasa
dan Perbukuan, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (National Agency for
Language and Book Development, Ministry of Education and Culture of Republic
of Indonesia) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

The confirmed keynote speakers of ASIALEX 2020 are René van den Berg, Ph.D.
(SIL Internasional), Prof. Dr. Dadang Sunendar (Head of Badan Pengembangan
Bahasa dan Perbukuan, Indonesia), Dr. Sandro Nielsen (Aarhus University,
Denmark) and Dr. Li Lan (The Chinese University of Hong Kong, PR China).

Abstract submission deadline: March 1, 2020
Notification of paper acceptance: March 17, 2020
Deadline for early bird registration: May 15, 2020
Deadline for full paper submission: May 30, 2020
