Meeting Description:

LDG is a biannual Conference that takes place either in Greece or Cyprus, with
the aim to bring together researchers working on developmental and acquired
language disorders.


Call for Papers:

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 8th Conference “Language Disorders in
Greek” (LDG8) which will take place on the 30 and 31 of May 2020, at the
University of Thessaly in Volos. LDG is a biannual Conference that takes place
either in Greece or Cyprus, with the aim to bring together researchers working
on developmental and acquired language disorders. During the Conference an
overview of the state-of-the-art research on language disorders is presented
and new directions and emerging trends in areas such as psycholinguistics,
clinical linguistics and language pathology are explored.

This year, the Conference is organized by the Laboratory of Bilingual
Education and the Laboratory of Learning, Language & Communication
Disabilities, Department of Special Education (SED), University of Thessaly
and the joint, between University of Thessaly and Hellenic Open University,
Master's Program ''Education Sciences: Special Education and Training of
People with Oral and Written Language Difficulties''. 

Researchers and clinicians investigating language disorders theoretically and
empirically on all linguistic areas (phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics,
pragmatics) are invited to submit an abstract. The Conference languages are
Greek and English. We hope that you will enjoy the conference as well as your
stay in Volos.
