Meeting Description:

The Texas Linguistics Society is a yearly student-run conference that takes
place at the University of Texas at Austin. The conference's nineteenth
meeting will take place February 14-15, 2020. The organizers invite papers
from all sub-fields of linguistics, including, but not limited to, phonetics,
phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and pragmatics. This year there will
be a special session focusing on language contact and bilingualism.


Call for Papers:

The Nineteenth Meeting of the Texas Linguistics Society will take place
February 14-15, 2020 at the University of Texas at Austin. The organizers
invite papers from all sub-fields of linguistics. There will be a special
session focusing on language contact and bilingualism.

Presentations will be 20 minutes in length, with 10 minutes for
questions/discussion. There will also be a poster session.

Abstract guidelines:Length: 500 words maximum, excluding examples and
references.
Format: Include the paper or poster title and the text of the abstract. The
abstract should not include the author’s name, affiliation, or other
identifying information. All abstracts will be reviewed anonymously. 

Deadline for submission: November 1, 2019
Notification: December 10, 2019
