Types of Presentations: individual or coauthored oral or poster presentation;
also panel presentations

Allowed time for Paper Presentations: 20 minutes, plus 10 minutes for
questions and comments

Allowed time for Poster Presentations: A Poster Session will be set during the
days of the conference, so the presenters are able to discuss their posters
with other participants and interested people. Poster presentations are the
recommended format for works in progress, fieldwork experiences and
preliminary results of empirical research. Detailed information regarding the
dimensions of posters will be provided in the conference's website.


Call for Papers: 

Guidelines for Abstract Submission:
i)   Only one abstract per individual author will be accepted, or two if the
second one is co-authored.
ii)  The length of abstracts for both oral and poster presentations is max 500
words, single-spaced and using size 12 
     Times New Roman fonts. PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE YOUR NAME IN THE ATTACHED
ABSTRACT.
iii) Abstracts should be sent as attached both Word and PDF files to this
email address: encuentro.linguistica at unison.mx
iv)  The abstract should include the following information:
     - tittle
     - a brief description of the problem discussed and of the main arguments
and points made
     - a few examples if the topic requires them, and
     - no more than five references.

Required Personal Information:
In the text of your email please provide the following information:
i)   The tittle of the abstract, with a specification on whether the
presentation will be in oral or poster format.
ii)  The name of author or authors of the proposed presentation.
iii) The institutional affiliation and institutional status of the author or
authors (professor, researcher, graduate student).
iv)  The disciplinary or interdisciplinary areas in which the abstract should
be classified.
v)   The country of origin.
vi)  Email address.
vii) Postal institutional and/or personal address.
viii) Preferred contact phone number.

Requirements for Panel Sessions:
i)   Groups of interested participants may propose sessions on specific topics
within any of the thematic fields listed on our website.
ii)  Each proposed panel session should have an organizer who will gather and
submit the individual abstracts/papers to  be presented. It is expected that
panel organizer(s) have invited panel participants.
iii) Each panel session should have 4 individual papers on the specific topic
proposed.
iv)  Abstracts included in a panel session will be anonymously peer-reviewed
as sets of proposed presentations around a single topic or problem.
