Subject: Holiday Recess Reminder

 Dear subscribers,

This is a reminder that The LINGUIST List will be on its holiday recess from Friday December 18, 2020 until Monday January 4, 2021, and that the submission deadline is tomorrow December 16, 2020. 

During that time, except for emergencies, we cannot guarantee that announcements will be posted. Although the website will be available, some pages may not be updated during that time.

Except for emergencies, submissions we receive after tomorrow, December 16, 2020, will most likely not be posted until after we return on January 4, 2021.

Anyone wishing to submit an emergency message, please send an email to linguist[at]linguistlist.org and CC becca[at]linguistlist.org. 

Please put 'URGENT' in the subject line.

Please also reference your submission ID and to which category your submission belongs to. This will speed up the process and help us direct your email to the appropriate editor.
