Call Deadline: 31-Jan-2021

Dear fellow linguists,

I kindly inform you that the annual publication of The Linguistic Association
of Finland, Finnish Journal of Linguistics, welcomes paper proposals for its
next issue. Please note that from next year on there will be some changes in
the publication: the journal will be published only electronically, its name
changed from SKY Journal of Linguistics to Finnish Journal of Linguistics and
the submission date advanced to the end of January. We will also include
Finnish and Swedish as languages of publication. For more information, see
below. All the best wishes for what remains of this year!

On behalf of the editors, Lauri Marjamäki

Call for papers:
Finnish Journal of Linguistics (until now SKY Journal of Linguistics) is the
annual publication of the Linguistic Association of Finland. The journal
welcomes linguistic research from all theoretical and methodological
persuasions. The submissions have to be unpublished original and high-quality
work. Every manuscript is reviewed by at least two anonymous referees. In
addition to research papers on any linguistic topic, FJoL publishes short
'squibs' and book reviews. The languages of publication are English, French,
German, Finnish and Swedish. FJoL appears as an open access publication on the
journal's website.

The deadline for initial submissions (papers, squibs) for the next volume
(number 34, to appear by autumn 2021) is January 31, 2021. The deadline for
book reviews is March 15, 2021. The deadline is strict and non-negotiable.
Submissions arriving after the deadline will be postponed to next year. For
further information, please visit our website at
http://www.linguistics.fi/skyjol.shtml, where you also find the latest issues
and the archive.

You can contact the editors via the journal's e-mail address:
