Meeting Description:

The conference is approaching the connection of language(s) and identity
regarding for example multiple L1s, migration processes and questions of
integration and exclusion from groups based on language knowledge and skills.
We invited speakers from different areas as linguistics, literature,
sociology, politics, history and other human sciences to our conference in
Cluj-Napoca, Romania. It is going to be a familiar atmosphere in a
multilinguistic city. The conference language will be German.

The conference will take place on May 14 and 15, 2020 at the Austria Library
Bernhard Stillfried: Strada Horea 7, 400 174 Cluj-Napoca / Klausenburg /
Kolozsvár, Romania. The participants are invited to a lecture of about 20
minutes, after which time is allowed for discussion.
If you are interested, there may be the possibility to publish accepted
articles in edited form in the 10th volume of the Austrian Transylvania
Cultural Contributions (edited by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Rudolf Gräf and Kerstin
Katzlberger).
