Description:

At the Faculty of Philological and Cultural Studies of the University of
Vienna the position of a “Tenure-Track Professorship for the field of English
Corpus Linguistics and Quantitative Analysis” (full-time position) is to be
filled. 

We are looking for a candidate with expertise in corpus linguistics and a
strong focus on data-intensive research. The successful candidate should also
demonstrate a critical understanding of quantitative methods and their
application. We expect international visibility in one or more of the core
areas of English linguistics.

All teaching at the department takes place through English and therefore
German language competence is not a requirement at the hiring stage.
