Meeting Description: 

The conference considers all aspects of the linguistic and sociolinguistic
competences and practices of bi-/multilingual speakers who cross existing
social, cultural and linguistic boundaries, adopting or adapting themselves to
new and overlapping linguistic spaces. We invite papers in all areas of
research in bi-/multilingualism, whether or not linked directly to the
overarching conference theme, including, but not limited to, linguistics,
sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, clinical linguistics,
education, bi-/multilingual societies and multiculturalism.

Confirmed speakers: 
 - Elizabeth Lanza (University of Oslo)
 - Mila Schwartz (Oranim Academic College of Education) 
 - Zhu Hua (University of Birmingham) 
 - Li Wei (University College London).
 

Call for Papers: 

The three categories of proposals are: (1) individual papers, (2) thematic
sessions and (3) posters.

Submission is already open and will close on 1 October 2020. Presenters are
requested to include their name, affiliation and email address in the
submitted MS-Word documents (PDF attachments will be rejected). Proposals
should not be more than 250 words in length. All proposals should be sent to:
mlpp.krakow at gmail.com.
