Meeting Description:

The Conference is designed to offer a platform for teachers, students and
research scholars of Arabic language, culture, literature, linguistics and
translation from the United Kingdom and beyond, to exchange ideas, share good
practice and disseminate their scholarship and research to a wider audience.
It also aims at facilitating greater collaboration and links between teachers,
students and scholars in the field in the UK and abroad.

In this spirit, we look forward to abstracts considering the following themes:
1. Teaching Arabic and Culture 
2. Arabic Translation 
3. Arabic Literature and Literary Criticism 
4. Arabic Linguistics

Abstracts can be submitted in both Arabic and English. Arabic abstracts should
be accompanied with a brief summary in English. Abstracts should not exceed
300 words, with clear goals and relevance to the theme of the conference.

The Conference invites abstracts from individuals and panels. Individual
papers will be grouped by themes and assigned a chair.

Panels should consist of a minimum of four papers, with a clear objective and
relevance to the theme of conference.

All abstracts should be submitted by no later than January 31, 2021. Proposals
will be blind reviewed by members of the organising Committee. Participants
will be notified of the outcome of their submission by no later than February
25, 2021. Talks will be allocated 20 minutes and 10 minutes for Q&A. Please
