Subject: Survey on Irony Recognition

 
We are investigating the auditory and visual cues that facilitate the
detection of ironic comments. In particular, we want to see whether they are
cross-linguistically recognizable. In this survey, we present pairs of
sentences uttered ironically and sincerely, and we ask to recognize the ironic
one. The sentences are in Italian, and we want to see whether non-Italian
speakers recognize irony.
