Dear LINGUIST Listers,

For 30 years now, we have been together as a global network of linguists and
language enthusiasts, though we have been physically apart. Conferences and
meetings typically brought many of us together, but that simply was not
possible this year. The LINGUIST List, however, has never stopped keeping you
apprised of linguistics news and publications, connecting us all. We are very
grateful to provide a medium of unity and it is, in reality, because of your
generous support.

Now, during our annual fund drive, we would like to offer an exciting
opportunity: each week, two donors will be randomly selected to receive
prizes, generously donated by our Supporting Publishers. Every donor will be
entered into the lottery, regardless of the amount donated. We want to
encourage everyone (yes, even poor grad students like us) to donate whatever
they can. This is a wonderful opportunity to win some excellent publications!
