Subject: Call for Participants: English Native Speakers for a Pragmatic Study

 
Dear  all, 

We are looking for volunteers to take part in a study of pragmatics: what
people say when there is a disagreement between the speaker and hearer. As a
participant in this online research project, you would be asked to read five
scenarios and decide what you would say if you are in such a situation and
which factors will influence your decision. Besides, you are asked to indicate
how strongly you agree or disagree that the factor would be important to you.
Participants should imagine that in all scenarios they are interacting with a
native speaker of English. Completing this questionnaire takes 25-30 minutes.
