Meeting Description:

RFP 2022 – 19th annual meeting of the French Phonology Network

After the online edition in 2021, the French Phonology Network (Réseau
Français de Phonologie) is launching a call for papers for its 2022 annual
conference. The 2022 edition will take place from the 7th to the 9th of June
in Porto (Portugal), at the kind invitation of the University of Porto, and
will be co-organized by the Centro de Linguística da Universidade do Porto
(CLUP), and the research units Structures Formelles du Langage (UMR 7023 SFL
CNRS), Imagerie et Cerveau (iBrain, Inserm U1253), and Cognition, Langue,
Langages, Ergonomie (UMR 5263 CLLE CNRS).
Submissions from any school or theoretical framework of phonology are welcome.
Topics of interest may relate to phonology in general or in specific
languages, along synchronic or diachronic dimensions. Papers focusing on
phonology and its interfaces, descriptive phonology, experimental phonology,
phonological modelling, or formalism are welcome.
There will be a thematic session: “The Phonology of Nasals, Nasality and
Nasalisation across Languages” (PhN3).

The conference will be trilingual: French/English/Portuguese. We encourage
people (when possible) to speak in one of these languages while providing a
handout or slides in either of the others.
The conference will take place at the University of Porto (Portugal). We hope
to be able to hold the conference on-site, but we will be planning an online
alternative, should the
pandemic not allow for a safe on-site conference.

Elisa Fernández Rei (Universidade de Santiago de Compostela)
Roland Noske (Université de Lille)

=ABSTRACT SUBMISSION=

There will be poster sessions. You will be asked to indicate whether, if

main session or the thematic session.
Abstracts can be written in French or English. They should not exceed two
pages in length (A4 pages) with 2,5 cm margins on all sides, Times New Roman
with a font size no smaller than 11pt, single-spaced, including references,
tables and figures.

Anonymous PDF abstracts should be submitted on the RFP2022 site at this
address: https://rfp2022.sciencesconf.org/. YOU NEED TO LOG IN TO SUBMIT AN
ABSTRACT.

The submission must not reveal the identity of the author(s) in any way. (Note
that files uploaded to Sciencesconf are renamed by the system, but a PDF file
may contain hidden information about its author or creator.)
All abstracts will be reviewed by at least two referees.
