Meeting Description:

For more than sixty years, generative grammar has had a significant impact on
the ways philosophers think about language and the mind. This conference aims
at bringing together philosophers and linguists to discuss philosophical
topics related to generative grammar and linguistic developments that may be
of interest to philosophers. The conference is organised by the Department of
Philosophy of Universidad del Valle.

Durante más de sesenta años, la gramática generativa ha influenciado
significativamente la manera en que los filósofos piensan acerca del lenguaje
y la mente. Este congreso busca congregar a filósofos y lingüistas para
discutir sobre temas filósofos relacionados con la gramática generativa y
sobre desarrollos lingüísticos que puedan tener relevancia para la filosofía.
El congreso es organizado por le Departamento de Filosofía de la Universidad
del Valle.

1st call for abstracts - Philosophy and Generative Grammar (versión en español

Online conference 
May 4–6, 2022

We invite abstracts for 50-minutes talks (30-minutes-presentation +
20-minutes-Q&A). Abstracts can be in English or Spanish. Each submitted
abstract should be anonymised and should be no longer than 500
words—references are excluded from this word-limit.
