Subject: Seeking Individuals to Participate in an Interview Study about Smart Speaker Usage

 
The CMD lab at Indiana University is seeking individuals to participate in a
study about communicating using the Amazon Echo (Alexa).

Requirements:

(1) You must be 18 or older
(2) A fluent speaker of English
(3) Own a smart speaker from the Amazon Echo family
(4) Have used a smart speaker communication feature from the Amazon Echo
family (e.g., calls, messages, drop-in)
(5) Have a friend, family member, or acquaintance willing to participate in a
short Alexa-to-Alexa call.

Procedure:
Participants will be interviewed about their smart speaker use and complete
three short tasks related to Amazon Echo communication features.

Compensation:
As compensation for participating in the study, participants will receive a
$20 Visa gift card.

Location:
The study will take place remotely via Zoom.
