Subject: A Survey on When-Clauses, Canonical and Narrative

I'm Yoshinori Imada. I'm a Nagoya University(in Japan) student majoring in
English Linguistics and studying when-clauses, especially difference between
original temporal when-clauses and Narrative When-Clauses. I'm going to write
about this for my graduation thesis.
It is said that directional inversion is allowed in Narrative When-Clauses,
but locative inversion is not. So, I'd like to know whether it is correct or
not.
Please answer some questions about it to complete my graduation thesis.
