Subject: Call for Video Presentations - ILARA (Institute for Linguistic Heritage and Diversity)

ILARA, l'Institut des langues rares (Institute for Linguistic Heritage and
Diversity), is launching a call for submissions and welcomes academic
presentations in video format for its online series ILARA for Researchers.
To be eligible, the video must present original academic research on rare
languages (lesser-described, used by small communities, endangered, extinct,
etc.) or their cultures.
The video (between 20mn and 45mn), submitted via a file-sharing platform, must
be accompanied by a CV, a list of publications, as well as a 500-word
abstract, a list of 5 to 10 keywords, and a paragraph providing a rationale
for considering the language under study 'rare' (all this in French or
English).
The presentation will be evaluated by two experts, based on an evaluation
chart available on request.
The selected videos will be published on the ILARA Online channel, free and in
open access (CC-BY 3.0) http://bit.ly/ilara-youtube
