Description:

We are currently looking for a Senior Researcher / Postdoc within the
newly-funded Research Training Group (RTG) at the Philipps-University Marburg.
The position is anchored in the RTG “Dynamics and stability of linguistic
representations“ (RTG 2700) that will commence on 01.03.2022. The RTG is a
structured program for Ph.D.-students and young researchers. The scientific
goal of the group is to study the mental bases of linguistic units, their
usage, acquisition, development and change.

To this end, several methodological perspectives are taken, e.g. from
Psycho-or Neurolinguistics, Dialectology, Clinical Linguistics, Historical
Linguistics and Pragmatics. The tasks include scientific services in the
research. Duties involve to work towards a unifying concept of linguistic
representation in close collaboration with the individual projects of the RTG.
The envisaged concept is intended to be the link that can explain
inter-dependencies between cognitive language processing, inter-individual
interaction as well as variation and change.

The job is full-time for an initial period of 4 years, with the possibility
for extension.

We would like to ask for applications documents within a single PDF-file.
Documents have to include a motivation letter, CV, publication list,
documentation of University degrees and a project proposal (up to 5 pages)
that outlines your approach towards a unifying concept of linguistic
representation. For orientation, please refer to the topic proposals on the
website (https://www.uni-marburg.de/de/fb09/grk-2700). Documents have to be
sent before 27.08.2021.
