Meeting Description: 

Studies in linguistics, interlingual and intercultural communication,
translation studies, mass media research, sociolinguistics and teaching of
foreign languages pedagogy. The conference will include plenary and panel
presentations and also workshops.

The event will be part of the International Translation Day programme at St
Petersburg, launched by the Government of St Petersburg.

The conference will be divided into ten panels:

Panel 1: Translation, Translation Studies and Cultural Linguistics. Chair –

Subpanel 1: Continuing Education Programmes in Translating and Interpreting

Conference fees: 
The registration fee includes participation in the conference, workshops, a
certificate and also covers the costs of publishing an article in the
collection, The Synergy of Languages and Cultures: Interdisciplinary Studies
included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI). 
For participants from outside Russia and the CIS countries, the registration
fee is 3,500 RUR.  For participants from Russia and the CIS countries, the
registration fee is 2,500 RUR.
