Subject: Call for Participants: Egyptian Arabic Speakers

Hi, I'm recruiting native Egyptian Arabic speakers for an online research
study. See below for the full recruitment message in English and Arabic. If
anyone knows of people who would be interested, could you please forward the
message to them? Thanks so much for your helpǃ

---------------------------------
My name is Lily Xu. I am a PhD student in the Department of Linguistics in the
University of California, Los Angeles, and I am conducting a study on Egyptian
Arabic(اللهجة المصرية) . I am looking for native Egyptian Arabic speakers who
speak the Cairene variety to participate in my study. The study will take
20-30 minutes. You will be presented with made-up words as if they were novel
verbs in Egyptian Arabic, either in past (الماضي) or present(المضارع) form,
and asked to say them in the other form in a sentence while being recorded.
You will receive $6.5 (100 EGP) via Paypal for your participation. If you are
interested in participating, you can fill in your contact information and
language background in the google form below. Following your response, we will
send you an email with the link to the experiment and your participant ID.
You can access the study from the link in the email and take it on your own
device at a place where you feel comfortable. If you have any questions,
please contact me at lilyokc at ucla.edu.
