Meeting Description:

This workshop focuses on clausal complements and relative clauses. What we
would like to investigate is the properties of these two types of constituents
from the point of view of their subordinators (e.g., complementizers and
relativizers) and of their selectors (if any) in order to see if they can be
reduced to one and the same phenomenon or not.
If approved, the workshop will be part of the 55th Annual Meeting of the
Societas Linguistica Europaea (SLE) in Bucharest, 24-27 August 2022.


Call for Papers:

We welcome papers on any aspect of the syntax, morphology, typology,
didactics, and corpus study of complementation and relativization. Proposals
should be submitted in the form of an abstract of no more than 300 words
(excluding references). Authors are invited to submit their abstracts for 20+5
min presentations in PDF format in a joint message to
SLE2022_complementation at gmail.com, with Firstname_Surname_SLEmeeting2022 as a
subject. Abstracts should be anonymous, with contact details in the body of
the email (name/affiliation/email address).

Deadlines: all abstracts must be submitted no later than November 1, 2021. 
Authors will be notified by December 25, 2021.
