Meeting Description:

English Language and Anglophone Literatures Today is a biannual conference
dedicated to the new currents and approaches to the study of the English
language and the literature(s) of the English-speaking world. The conference
is organized by the Department of English Studies at the University of Novi
Sad, Serbia (taking place online due to possible COVID-19 restrictions).


Call for Papers:

English Language and Anglophone Literatures Today is a biannual conference
dedicated to the new currents and approaches to the study of the English
language and the literature(s) of the English-speaking world. The conference
is organized by the Department of English Studies at the University of Novi
Sad, Serbia (taking place online due to possible COVID-19 restrictions).

This year's edition of the conference will consist of the following four
parallel workshops (detailed descriptions of each workshop are available on
the conference's webpage):
- Formal Approaches to Embedding (Invited speaker: Boban Arsenijević,
University of Graz)
- New Words and Dictionaries in Theory and Practice (Invited speaker: Tvrtko
Prćić, University of Novi Sad)
- Literature, Culture, and Nostalgia (Invited speaker: Antonija Primorac,
University of Rijeka)
- The Norms of Literary Translation in Languages of Limited Distribution
(Invited speaker: Zoran Paunović, University of Novi Sad)

Abstracts are invited for 20-minute paper presentations and are to be
submitted via EasyChair with a specification of the selected workshop.
