Meeting Description:

A conference concerning Algonquian languages, cultures, peoples, and history.
Held annually. To be held this year in Boulder, CO, USA. Conference will be
in-person with synchronous remote component as well. Registration will open
Aug. 15.


Call for Papers:

The 54th Algonquian Conference, taking place Oct. 20-23, 2022 in Boulder, CO
at the University of Colorado, is now accepting abstracts for papers and
sessions. Abstracts of no more than 250 words should be submitted, in pdf
format, in English or French, to algonquianconference at colorado.edu. (Any
references should be listed after the abstract, on a second page, and these
will not count toward the 250-word limit.) The deadline for submission is
September 1, 2022. Decisions on abstracts will be provided by September 15,
2022. (Registration for the conference will open on September 1, 2022.)

Paper and session proposals due by Sept. 1, 2022.
