2nd Call for Papers:

We are pleased to announce the call for papers for the Twelfth International
Conference on Construction Grammar (ICCG-12). The conference will be held in
Prague, Czech Republic, at Charles University (Faculty of Arts), on May
18­–21, 2023 (including a pre-conference workshop).

Abstracts for regular conference papers (20 min. talk plus 10 min. discussion)
or poster presentations are invited on any aspect of linguistic analysis,
synchronic or diachronic, that is concerned with grammatical constructions
and/or semantic frames. We welcome submissions on issues in all areas of
constructional or frame-semantic research, including syntax, morphology,
semantics, pragmatics, discourse, language variation and change, language
typology, corpus linguistics, language acquisition and learning,
multimodality, signed languages etc. 

GUIDELINES for abstract submission:  

The length of each abstract should not exceed 500 words, excluding references
and/or data and the abstract should clearly state research questions,
approach, method, data and (expected) results. Abstracts should also list
three to five keywords. 

One person may submit a single-authored abstract and a co-authored one (not as
first author) or two co-authored abstracts (only one as first author).  

Each abstract will be evaluated by two members of the Scientific Committee. 

Abstracts must be submitted electronically via EasyAbs at
http://linguistlist.org/easyabs/iccg12. Abstracts will be reviewed anonymously
and therefore must exclude all reference to the identity of the author.

IMPORTANT DATES:

The deadline for receipt of abstracts: January 10, 2023

Notification of acceptance: February 15, 2023

Program announcement: February 28, 2023

Early registration deadline: April 15, 2023
