Description:

The professorship combines German as a foreign language and language for

development of the programmes of study, the organization and the didactical
conception of both analogue and digital teaching materials will be desired. As
part of this role, you will be required to supervise students, in particular
in the context of project work, final papers or internships.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with an impressive academic
background, strong research skills and a track record in international
publications.

Relevant academic and teaching experience in subjects relevant to the topic
including:
 - German as a Foreign Language, German as a Language for Specific Purposes

didactics and intercultural communication
 - Several years of proven teaching experience in the fields mentioned above,
preferably also in an international context
 - International project experience and networking skills, experience in the
development of double degree programmes and the acquisition of third-party
funds. You will work with colleagues on the design and write-up of new project

You should meet the employment requirements, according to § 58 SächsHSFG. It
is an essential requirement that the candidate has at least five years of
professional experience, of which at least three years were acquired outside
the university sector.

Please apply via post or email (see below). We look forward to receiving your
application which will consist of a letter of motivation, curriculum vitae,
academic career, relevant certificates and proof of qualifications, teaching
record, results of teaching evaluations, track record of academic
publications, overview of lectures and list of third-party funds raised.
