Job Title: Researcher (Wissenchaftlicher Mitarbeiter) - Semantics/Pragmatics

Specialty Areas: Pragmatics; Semantics; Discourse

Description:

The Leibniz-Zentrum Allgemeine Sprachwissenschaft (ZAS) in Berlin invites
applications for a post-doctoral researcher, specializing in natural-language
semantics, pragmatics and/or discourse (full time, to December 2023). The
position is part of the ERC project “Speech Acts in Grammar and Discourse”
(SPAGAD) directed by Manfred Krifka. The project investigates speech acts in

societal norms concerning the use of particular types of speech acts.

Applicants should have prior experience in working on phenomena related to
speech acts (such as questions, commands, exclamatives), and should have

applicant is expected to collaborate in a team of researchers that focuses on
other speechact-related aspects.

Please submit, with subject: “SPAGAD Semantics/Pragmatics Application”, a
