Description:

The Department of English Philology at the Georg-August University Göttingen
has a vacancy for a Research Assistant (PhD position). The field of activity
includes research tasks in (English) linguistics with a focus on the topic of
form-meaning mismatches. The teaching load is is currently 2 hours/week.
Prerequisites are a completed academic university education (Master's degree
in (English) linguistics or in a related subject, as well as a research focus
in syntax or a neighboring field. In addition, very good knowledge of the
English language is required. Applicants who have not yet completed their MA
programme at the time of submission should submit a declaration by the
supervisor(s) that the degree will be available before starting the doctoral
position.
