Description:

Productive Playhouse is looking for a detail-oriented highly literate
individual for a part-time position in our Linguistics Consultant Sourcing
Division. We are seeking a well-educated candidate with excellent writing and
communication skills, inventive skills and enthusiasm for research, to work
remotely with an international community.

We are a global language services company servicing major tech clients. This
position focuses on sourcing and recruiting linguists for our linguistics
division, as well as networking across the linguistics community to broaden
our presence and attract suitable candidates for our projects.

Skills and Qualities should include:
 - Great command of written and spoken English at a native level.
 - Excellent communication and writing skills, with a command of formal
writing.
 - Experience using Google Sheets and Google Drive.
 - Strong interest and skill in sourcing, networking and research.
 - Comfort working pro-actively on projects.
 - Strength in conceiving, designing and implementing recruiting strategies.
 - Experience and comfort with social media platforms and other posting sites,
including LinkedIn, Glassdoor and Upwork.

Responsibilities for the role include:
 - Identifying hiring needs and tailoring job descriptions to individual
projects.
 - Writing engaging job postings and publishing them on multiple platforms.
 - Updating company website with current job openings.
 - Attracting suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums,
social media, etc.
 - Sourcing new job posting sites worldwide.
 - Expanding our social media network and presence in linguistics communities.
 - Vetting applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open
positions.
 - Communication and consistent follow up with candidates through the hiring
process.
 - Applicant tracking, and maintenance of candidate pool.
 - Providing recruitment reports (weekly, quarterly and yearly) to project
managers on a regular basis.

Preferred Experience:
 - Education or experience in languages or linguistics
 - Experience working in an academic environment
 - Travel or working experience in an international, multicultural
environment.
 - Education or experience in recruitment / sourcing.

This role will work 10-25 hours per week depending on project load. The hours
expand and contract during the year depending on project needs. Project
recruitment covers many time zones, so hours are not focused on a particular
part of the day. Compensation will be competitive. Could be a good position
for a graduate student completing their education, or a researcher or content
writer looking for an additional position to complement their other work.

*Please note: Our website is currently under redevelopment to reflect our
significant growth in the realm of Linguistics and Translation over the last
couple years, and reducing the emphasis on our previous work in children's
educational programming.
